The IBA is Iowa's largest balloon club and hosts what may very well be the Midwest's largest safety seminar. On this site you will be able to find information on membership and the IBA's Continuing Education Seminar. In the near future we will be adding more sections to the website, hopefully these will include a list of commercial pilots who can be contacted for pilot training or passenger rides. 2014 IBA JR Balloonist Camp Scholarship Awarded

The Iowa Balloonist Association is pleased to announce that the IBA JR Balloonist Scholarship has been awarded to 13 year old Lauryn Schmidt of Des Moines. The IBA Scholarship will cover the full tuition for Lauryn to attend the Balloon Federation of America's JR Balloonist Camp in Dubuque, IA June 22-26 2014. We hope Lauryn has a great time at camp!!
